When I grow up I wanna be Barbie..

I really really do want to be just like Barbie ;) aahahahah I joke >:D

So after the couple months or 1 month? I think of greenness I decided a couple weeks ago I was sick of been all dark and dreary and wanted to look bright and refreshing for the summer!
SO you know what that means! Lighter hair!

I went ahead and just bought Swarzkopft Nordic Bleach box dye. I didn't want to use my diy developer and bleach because I knew that would damage my hair a lot more ...

I bought 2 boxes for my shoulder length hair. I left the dye in longer than recommended as always just in case because I want my hair to reach full potential in what it can get from the bleach.
Green dye is the worst dye to strip out of your hair. It's tough and doesn't want to budge. Even after I bleached it there was a few spots near the side/back of my hair where you could slightly see the green... Of course my hair felt like shit as well haha. Then I used Nice and Easy by Clairol Ash blonde hair dye to get rid of the Orange/ brassy tones you get when you bleach. My hair went to a gold/honey ash blonde colour which i didn't mind but freaked the crap out of my sister hahaha.

My mum surprisingly liked it ahah. But a week later I went off to my hairdresser HAHA.
Just to get rid of the obvious green and to get it to a nicer colour :P
They gave my low lights to balance the colour and to make it look more natural~ which I liked.

After the trip to the hairdresser.

Week Later selfie.

After a few washes the colour became slightly darker and nicer so now I have my hair ready for summer ahaha after all the effort !

Green with envy..?

Couple months ago I went through a crazy stage where I actually have no idea what I was thinking hahah. I bought a vegetable dye from Dangerfield called Crazy Colour hair dye. The colour I bought was pine green. I was so in love with the colour green that I wanted to dye my whole head the colour ahahahah! wtf really... The dye only costs about 17$? i think I can't really remember ahah but it wasn't too pricey and its almost the same price you would pay for fudge hair dye (18$) which is so not worth it :( The crazy colour hair dye also has a bit more in the bottle as well and has a liquidy consistency, so more coverage (which is what I thought at first)

So I went ahead and started my at home diy hair. I bleached my hair using 30V creme developer and Hi-Lift Blue blonde powder bleach (if you're in AUS. you can grab these at Priceline or hairhouse warehouse) I basically fried my hair to a horribly brittle stage.. I bleach it about 3 times in that one day, which is so not recommended ... intense bleaching has to be done in stages over a period of time... but I was so absorbed in the crazy mood that I didn't give a shit and just wanted to bleach my hair out and so I did with consequences...

After bleaching the shit out of my hair I applied the Pine Green colour dye. For shoulder length hair 2 bottles is recommended because the one bottle will give you a patchy job like mine ahaha.
The green comes out quite bright.. like a very very very green..

The next day. You can see the patchy bits and pieces. Made me sad... and so I went ahead and applied brown hair dye on the top which created a dark brown/green tint gradient.

And so that was my crazy crazy CRAZY adventure using Crazy Colour hair dye!
If you want semi-permanent hair dye that WILL last then definitely get this! it is worth the money :)

Paintbox / fudge dye review

At the beginning of the year I was sporting an undercut for my bob cut, since my hair is undesirably thick... And after a year of having "normal" (kind of) hair I was going to spontaneously combust!
And so I decided I was definitely going to bleach and dye my undercut. So that it wasn't too extreme for my parents in a way so that I could hide it or show it.

I really wanted to try manic panic hair dye out but, wasn't ready to spend that extra $$$ since it's quite pricey to get around here. So I stuck with what i've used before and got Paintbox/fudge dye.
To be honest it isn't the best colour dye out there.. it's one of the weakest. The only way to get the vibrant colour it comes as is to bleach your hair to white. And even then, the colour only lasts around 1month/ 30 washes until it goes back into your blonde colour.. And I am one of those people that shampoos their hair everyday.

I did the dying twice over a period of time. The first time when I bleached my undercut I did it till it was about a light golden blonde. And applied the colour "Blue hawaii". The blue turned out darker and after a week or 2 started going back to blonde. Then I bleached my hair once again till it was bleach white. And again applied the Blue hawaii dye to the colour below.

This time the blue lasted longer because the base colour it sat on was white.

I recommend paint box fudge dye to anyone that wants a TEMPORARY colour. It is a weak semi-permanant dye. But I would call it a temporary dye as it only lasts a few weeks.
